Biography
The core of Tijuana Bullfight aka TJBF, has been Anthony Binikos and Mark Atienza; with a revolving door of Hollywoods top drummers, up until March of 2008, when Jason Hoeptner officially acquired the position ~ which has led to this well recognized and emerging rock trio, that has original heavy ass kicking songs that get the feet jumping and the head pumping ..
The band hails from Southern California, after two, now expired, record deals, TJBF has created a solid underground following that has enabled them snag invitations to perform at various live music venues, not just around Los Angeles, but around the States, thanks to two successful US tours. Their popularity has also enabled them to achieve industry attention, which led them to work with some of the top producers in the Music Business, such as; Jack Endino (Nirvana), Ralph Patlan (Megadeth), Danny Sabar (Rolling Stones).
TJBF has recently been in Scott Weilands (Stone Temple Pilots) Lavish Studios, recording their new album which is due for release around March 2010. They have been fortunate enough to work with such great producers as Douglas Grean (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver) and Mike Shipley (Grammy Award Winning Producer). With such a rocking line up, originality bought on by inspiring musical idols and icons, the product that is uniquely their own, TJBF, anticipate that their new album will not leave a lot to be desired
